Braised Fried Patties with Radish and Mushrooms

It has been a while since we last tested new recipes for our daily dinner menu. Last month, I bought a few new food magazines and found one of the patties dishes which was similar to a dish we occasionally cook at home, with a slight variation.
This recipe is a great balanced diet having both meat and vegetable cooked in one pot and a kid’s favourite. I suppose radish can be replaced with carrot if radish is not available.  As for the meat patties, either minced pork, chicken or beef can be used. I used minced pork for this recipe.

INGREDIENTS
FRIED MEAT PATTIES
500g minced pork/chicken/beef
2tbsp chopped carrots
2tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Dash of pepper
1tps sesame oil
1tbsp water
Coating:3tbsp corn starch
1 cup oil for frying

1 Radish (300g) –
peeled and cut into chunks)
1 tin button mushroom
8 pips garlic, peeled


Seasoning
1tbsp oyster sauce
1tbsp light soya sauce
Dash of salt
1tbsp dark soya sauce
500ml water

METHOD:

FRIED MEAT PATTIES
  1. Combine patties ingredients and stir until sticky,
  2. Form into patties and c
  3. oat with corn starch
  4. Heat up the pan/wok with oil,
  5. fried patties until brown on both sides and well cooked.
  6. Dish and drain for later use.

Braised radish
  1. Heat up oil and sauté garlic until aromatic.
  2. Add in radish, mushroom seasoning and bring to boil.

  1. Simmer for at least 15 minutes or until radish softened.
  2. Add in fried meat patties and simmer for another 15 minutes.

  1. Dish up and serve with white rice.

Tips:
  1. Radish may take longer time to cook, do cut into smaller chunk to speed up the cooking time.

 
白萝卜蘑菇焖肉饼

成分

煎肉饼


500克剁碎的猪肉/鸡肉/牛肉
2汤匙切碎的胡萝卜
2汤匙切碎的香菜叶
胡椒粉少许
1茶匙麻油
1汤匙水

3汤匙粟粉
1杯油煎炸

1条萝卜( 300克 - 去皮,切成块)
1罐蘑菇
8朵蒜斗,去皮

调料
1汤匙蚝油
1汤匙轻酱油
少许盐
1汤匙老抽
水500ml


方法:
煎肉饼

饼配料搅拌至起胶,
  • 将肉碎形成小肉饼, 然后沾上干粟粉
  • 放入热油中煎两面金黄色及煮熟
  • 即可捞起沥干油,供以后使用。


    1. 烧热油,爆香蒜斗,翻炒至香
    2. 加入白萝卜,蘑菇调味料煮滚。煨至少15分钟,或直到萝卜变软。
    3. 加入(4)煎肉饼继续焖15分钟。即可上菜


    温馨提示
    白萝卜可能需要更长的时间熟 可切成小块件不能太厚,加快烹饪时间。
